How much floor space do your stairs take up?

The floor space a stair takes up is determined by the stair’s diameter. The smallest size diameter we offer is 3 feet 6 inches (42″ X 42″ floor footprint). Our standard diameters increase in six inch increments, 42″ x 42″ to 48″ x 48″ to 54″ x 54″ and so forth. We recommend that you place painters tape on the ground in the above dimensions to determine how the stair will look in your space.

Our deck is still under construction but so far the spiral stairs look great! Paragon customer service was very helpful and my contractor said the stairs were easier to put together than he expected. At first I was lamenting that I’d ordered them unpainted instead of black, but the gray/silver looks even better against the stonework of our home!
