About a year ago Keith was working with a Pizzeria in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. They wanted to add a staircase for their employees as well as their customers to reach the top level for more seating inside of the restaurant. That is where Paragon came to the rescue in providing a safe stair for everyone to use without diminishing the style and aesthetics of the pizzeria.
Pizzeria Makeover with Floating Stairs
The Challenge
While working with a pizzeria, Keither was trying to figure out the best way to create a visually appealing entrance to the top floor of the restaurant. After some searching he landed on Paragon stairs. With the option of a floating stair, Keith was given the perfect solution for the pizzeria while keeping it safe for his customers and employees.
The Process
Keith’s experience purchasing the stairs was quite easy. He spoke with a designer who was able to talk him through the steps of measuring the space correctly. Once they got the correct measurements back they were able to make and send over a design for approval. Once approved they shipped out the stairs, Keith hired some contractors and the stairs were put up without any issues.
The Staircase Design
Keith, along with his client and our designer, chose a building code compliant Haven Mono Stringer for this project. The Red Oak butcher block treads are the perfect solution for code compliance without additional riser bars added to the stair frame. Modern cable rail is the perfect solution for full coverage railing without impeding the style and lines of the floating staircase.
The Results
From the ease of purchasing, the high quality wood and metal that was delivered, and the simple install, Keith was very pleased with his Paragon experience. His stairs came out to about 15 stairs and treads, all of which were high quality and well made. With the help of his carpenters they were able to install these heavy steps into a beautiful and functional part of the pizzeria.
