My request was an odd one. I did not need the entire spiral stair, just parts of it for a special project. Paragon (Rachel) worked with me to get what I needed without paying for the parts I didn't need. They didn't have to do that. They could have made me buy the entire kit.... Good customer relations goes a very long way in my book.read more

The package was very organized and hardware was marked and easy to understand where it was designed to be installed. It took 4 hours to install the main structure. The handrail was somewhat difficult to bend and took more time to get a compound bend. Maybe if it was a lighter... gauge could be somewhat easier. I would recommend Paragon Stairs and will use this company in the future. Please note that the designer was easy to understand in the fabrication process. This eliminated any call backs when the installation was done.read more

We love our new spiral staircase. As a DIY project it was definitely a challenge. Our sales consultant offered off book advice for installing the railing, which was much appreciated. He also helped us find a delivery method that was affordable. We watched several Youtube... videos during our installation project. The directions for installing the middle balusters are not useful, Youtube offered a better method. I highly recommend the stairs, with a caution to DIYers to be prepared for a challenge, and to use Youtube. We completed our build in three weekends.read more

I purchased the smallest stairs Paragon makes but the biggest that I could use. Watching YouTube videos to help learn how to erect the stairs they recommended doing it with at least 3 people. Great quality of materials. Great experience and delivered early. You will have to do lots of metal cutting when assembling so make sure you have a metal cutting blade on your chop saw.

Quality is good. One comment I have is that some of the holes on the steps, backside, were not large enough. Another comment is that there must be a better way to do the aluminum handrail. I watched a Youtube on the procedure that featured two guys that had obviously done the... job before, probably many times, and they made it look easy. I'm usually pretty good at doing DIY, but this railing kicked my butt. Still, I'm pleased with the stairs.read more

I received the delivery of my stairs right to my driveway as expected. All of the materials were in great shape, directions appeared to have been assembled in the wrong order but I was able to manage. nice finished product.

I had originally posted this as a 1 star, but have changed that.We had some challenges, to be sure, but it ended well. Here is the story-First off, the design process was great. Did lots of Zoom calls and FaceTime with simulated drawings of the stairs in our home.Making... changes in real time (lets see how that would look?)We measured and re-measured many times so it would be accurate. Often times with the Paragon guys on the FaceTime while me and my contractor measured. Our Lake Home is in a somewhat remote area in Northern MN and Paragon is out East, so getting the wrong 1,000 pound piece of steel was not an option.We had some challenges with the shipping, both the timing (late) and the location of the actual delivery. But got that straightened out.The stairs when they arrived, were spectacular. The 1,000 pound piece of steel DID FIT. 🤣👍However the hand railings were not properly powder coated and the riser limiters were the wrong size.I was not overjoyed with the responsiveness around getting those items fixed and we could not really put the stairs together until we got those things resolved. The cables are under tension, there is a whole order and process to assemble it properly, and once it is assembled, it doesn't come back apart. It took some time, and this resulted in not being able to use the property as much this summer, not having Grand-kids up because the stairs weren't safe until completely assembled, etc.I am happy to report that Paragon did get back in touch with me and they made it right. Kudos for that. At the end of the day, the stairs ARE spectacular and look great in our home. They are solid, high quality, extremely well built, and while not inexpensive, when you see the quality of the materials used and everything that goes into taking this from "idea" to "functional in my house"...it really is a pretty good value.We are very happy. This is an example of taking an unhappy customer, owning the problems and turning them back into a very happy customer.read more

UPDATED: Customer service sent me hardware to fix our problem. For some reason it was not included in our original stair kit. The hardware solved our problem and all is well. They were very attentive to my issue.I see the owner replied yesterday. OK, so far I have not heard... from anyone.Very unhappy with our spirals. Only the supporting balusters screw in solidly. As for the other balusters, the company sent us basically long metal rods, and left it up to us to cut them to size. As a result, the non supporting balusters do not fit properly and are loose and there is no way to tighten them. I do feel the company should send someone out to repair the loose balusters. When I mentioned it to our salesperson, all they tried to do was sell us new balusters. Thanks, NOT.read more

I ordered two galvanized spiral staircases from Kevin and the whole process could not have been easier. Not only was I helped with the selection process but was even helped with layout and design. I’m a contractor and these were my first set of spirals; the instructions were... easy to read and follow. Lastly with all the hardware required I was pleased to find that everything was there! Living in the Poconos and fairly close to your facility I picked the stairs up using my 6’ bed of my pickup truck. A pallet housing all the pieces for my project was loaded and fit perfectly in the bed of the truck.After getting the stairs home I contracted with a friend to... install them in an area that leads from the 1st floor of our home to a loft area housing my home office. I might say that I was very impressed with the outcome. I choose the black powder coated diamond plate stairs which looks great with our rustic decor.I would also like to thank Zack for all of his assistance in the planning and design of the stairs and I would defiantly recommend Paragon for anyone who has a stair project in the near future.read more

Assemblely was a little more than expected and the directions were not as detailed as I would have liked but I was told this when I ordered the stairs and was assured if I had any questions I... could call and someone would walk me through it over the phone but I was able to figure it out without assistance. Very well built. If you are a DYI install you should be experienced. It’s not for inexperienced DYIer. At one point it took 4 people to raise the pole and install the upper platform. Another spiral in our park bought one from Home Depot and the Paragon by FAR superior. Don’t... waste your money at the big box.read more
